Taylor's Progress

January 24, 2005

Hi Everyone,

We recently returned from our trip to Orlando for Taylor ’s Make-A-Wish vacation. It was just a fantastic week. Taylor and Cameron had the time of their lives. Matt and I so enjoyed seeing Taylor smiling and having so much fun. After all he had been through he deserved such a special trip like this. Even Cameron had a blast and his little eyes were like saucers the whole week long. We stayed at a place called “Give Kids the World”. It’s a resort for children with life threatening illnesses. If the game of Candyland  were an actual place, this resort would be it. The children are treated like VIPs at the resort and at the various parks. We really enjoyed going to the front of the lines for the rides.

The weather was perfect. It ended up being unusually high for this time of year. It was 85 to 90 degrees everyday. We spent 2 days in the Magic Kingdom , one day in Sea World, one day at MGM Studios, and 1 day just relaxing by the pool and fishing at the resort. Taylor caught his first fish. He caught a 1 ½ pound Largemouth Bass in the pond on the resort property. Both Taylor and Cameron loved the pool. Each day after we returned from the parks, we would take the kids down to the pool for a refreshing swim. After dinner, Taylor would ride on the carousel and ride around on the train for the children at the resort.

Matt and I both agreed that experiencing Disney as a child was fun but could not compare to seeing it through the eyes of our kids. We will never forget this trip and look forward to many more happy memories with our kids. We took plenty of pictures and video so that our boys will be able to remember there time there as well. Our greatest thanks to Make-A-Wish and Give Kids the world. We will be adding pictures shortly to the website.

We love you all, Jen, Matt, Taylor, and Cameron.
