Taylor's Progress
Apr. 2, 2004

Hi everyone! We first would like to thank all of you who attended Taylor 's beefsteak dinner and tricky tray last Saturday night! There were over 100 people who came and the night was very successful...as well as a lot of fun! Taylor had a great time! The hall looked beautiful and the food was delicious! Taylor thought it was a big birthday party all for him! A firefighter from the NYFD was our guest speaker.  He was a stem cell donor and he spoke about the importance of donating blood and stem cells for cancer patients.  We thank him for a terrific job and willing heart to help others like our son. I will have the speech that I had given that night printed on the web site very soon for those of you who could not come. We raised over $7,000 for Taylor 's medical expenses! Thank you also to those of you who could not attend, but sent donations for Taylor ! We are so overwhelmed by your generosity and every donation is helping us with our expenses. We are currently responsible for tens of thousands of dollars in bills. Matt is now negotiating with the insurance company to try to get the total sum down as low as possible. We thank Mark and Allison Lastfogel for putting the evening together for us! They did a fantastic job! We also thank their children Brandon, Travis, and Adrianne, the Camerlins, as well as all the high school kids who helped as well!  We also thank Harold from the Lincoln Park American Legion for donating the facilities and for cooking for us!  God has blessed us again with all of you in providing for us in our time of need.  We thank you all so very much!

Taylor celebrated his third birthday on March 31st. He had a wonderful time at his NASCAR family party, and then his pizza party with his friends on Tuesday. You can't imagine how blessed and joyful Matt and I felt as we watched our healthy son enjoy his birthday and run around with his cousins and friends, as if he had been through nothing at all! Matt will have pictures of the beefsteak and his parties up on the web site very soon!

I brought Taylor to his pediatrician for his yearly physical this week. His doctor said that he looks great after all he's been through. He is eating well and slowly putting on more weight. He's happy, healthy, and full of energy all day long. Praise the Lord! His next MSK check up is on April 16th. I will be sure to let you know how it goes afterwards! We love you all, Jen

Hi everyone!  This is our monthly update on Taylor .  He is fantastic!  He has a full head of brown hair and his color has returned.  He is actually getting tan from all the time he spends outside playing every day!  He eats very well and he’s gaining weight beautifully.  He has a wonderful personality and we are enjoying him so very much…Praise the Lord!  We went to MSK for his monthly check up on April 16th and they said he looks terrific.  His counts are all up and in normal range and he is the picture of good health!  He goes back for his three month scans on May 4th and 5th already…boy does time sure fly!  Speaking of time flying by, I am 35 weeks along now with baby Cameron and as big as a house!  I feel great though and we are both doing very well.  Cameron has already “dropped” and his head is down in the birth canal and ready to go!  I’ve also been having some real contractions from time to time the past few days.  I wonder if I’ll even make it to May 27th?  Either way, we are all ready for him and Taylor is getting excited to meet his baby brother.  I will be sure to let you know how everything goes next month and we will be putting more updated pictures of Taylor on the web site.  Thank you so very much for all of your continued prayers for our little one!  We love you all, Jen
