Hi everyone! We hope you’re having a great summer!
Taylor
is happy, healthy, and enjoying life! We just returned from a terrific week in
Long Beach
Island
with my family.
Taylor
loved the ocean. He just runs right in with absolutely no fear! We had to watch him every second. It is so great seeing him having fun and feeling good! He had his second set of post treatment scans the second week of August and they were all clean again! Praise God! Not only that, but they revealed that his leg looks better on the inside as well! The scar tissue from the surgery is slowly healing as time goes on. He needs to have some of his immunization shots over again because of the chemo, but other than that they say he is in great health. He begins preschool next month two days a week. He is very excited to be going to school like the big kids. He and Cameron are getting along very well. Cameron is 3 months old now and he loves to watch
Taylor
run around and “entertain” him. What a different life we are living now compared to last year at this time! Matt and I don’t look at life the same as we used to after cancer. When
Taylor
falls and gets a booboo, we don’t freak out. It’s no big deal anymore when we are running late for something. Dirty hands and messes equal fun. And even the sound of our baby crying is music to our ears…well, sometimes. Thank you for your prayers everyone. His next checkup at MSK is on September 1st. We will update sometime after we go. We love you all, Jen
